Cristiano Ronaldo keeps proving he’s still got it. In one of the most important matches of Al Nassr’s season, the veteran forward delivered two goals against Al Hilal, which led his team to a 3-1 win and closed the gap in the Saudi Pro League title race. The performance didn’t just matter on the field; it also earned him a spot in EA Sports FC 25’s Team of the Week 30, his third appearance in the TOTW lineup this season.
Al Nassr needed a strong result to stay in the title conversation. Al Hilal, their biggest rival, had been holding second place, and a loss might have knocked Al Nassr out of contention. But Ronaldo stepped up again, scoring his 20th and 21st goals of the season in a must-win game. Thanks to that win, Al Nassr now sits just three points behind Al Hilal and five behind the league leaders, Al Ittihad. With eight games left, the title is still very much up for grabs.
In EA FC 25, Ronaldo’s regular card hasn’t been too flashy, sitting at an 86 overall rating. But with this latest in-form upgrade, he climbs to 89 OVR. His shooting stat now hits 91, which feels about right considering how sharp he’s been in front of goal. Dribbling and pace follow close behind, both in the mid-80s, making this version of Ronaldo a solid pick for anyone looking to add firepower up front in Ultimate Team.
But Ronaldo isn’t the only one in the spotlight. Venezuelan striker Josef Martínez also made it into TOTW 30 after an explosive match in Major League Soccer. He scored three goals for San Jose Earthquakes in a 6-1 rout of D.C. United, earning his first-ever TOTW card. His upgrade is one of the biggest in the week, jumping from a 72 base rating to an impressive 88 OVR. Every major stat saw a boost, and it’s a well-earned one.
The full TOTW 30 squad features a strong mix of familiar names and breakout performers from across the globe. Manuel Locatelli from Juventus, Giorgi Mamardashvili of Valencia, and Benfica’s Vangelis Pavlidis all landed 89-rated in-form cards. Anderson Talisca, now with Fenerbahçe, and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers also had strong enough showings to grab a spot in the lineup.
On the women’s side, players like Lucy Bronze (Chelsea), Selma Bacha (Lyon), and Désiré Doué (PSG) all received well-deserved recognition. EA FC 25 has been increasingly highlighting women’s football, and it’s a great sign to see them included regularly in TOTW updates.
Some of the less well-known names in the mix, such as Peterborough’s Abraham Odoh or Randers FC’s Wessel Dammers, are a reminder that standout moments can come from anywhere and not only from the top-tier leagues. It adds a bit of excitement to the weekly updates, giving fans and players reasons to check in, even if they’re not following the biggest clubs.
Team of the Week 30 is available in packs until April 16, so it's a great time to jump in and take your shot at building a stronger squad. There’s still time to grab some serious talent —don’t let the chance slip past you.
