EAFC 25

EA Sports and Spotify have teamed up to bring something pretty cool to FC 25. Soon you will be able to play your own Spotify music, podcasts, and audiobooks while you’re in the game.
The beta test is limited to Australia and Saudi Arabia, and it’s only available for Spotify Premium users for now. So if you're using the free version of Spotify, you won’t be able to use it just yet.

How It Works
There’s going to be a new Spotify tab in the game’s main menu. You can open it and choose what you want to listen to: your own playlists, favorite artists, or even podcasts and audiobooks. The best part is, you don’t need to leave the game to do it.

Basic controls like skipping tracks or pausing music will be available through the pause menu or settings menu. While you're playing, the current song will show up as a small icon on the screen, just enough to let you know what's playing without getting in the way.

Your Game, Your Sound
If you’ve ever muted the in-game music to play your own stuff in the background, this is basically what you’ve been waiting for. It’s a small change, but it makes the game feel more comfortable and personal. From now on you will be able to have your own music playing before a big FC 25 Ultimate Team match or while relaxing in Career Mode.
It also saves you the trouble of switching between apps or dealing with Spotify on your phone or desktop while you’re in the middle of the game.

Some Limitations
Spotify says that some tracks might not be available right away, probably due to licensing in certain regions. Also, again, this is just for Premium users, so if you’re on the free version, you’re out of luck for now.

When Will Everyone Get It?
No official global release date yet. Right now it’s just a beta test, so EA is likely seeing how stable it is and how people use it. If all goes well, we’ll probably see it added in a future update for all players.
If you’re a premium Spotify user and you like having control over your game-day music, this is a feature to keep an eye on. Being able to bring your own soundtrack to FC 25 is a small but really welcome change.
