EA Sports has rolled out a new update for EA Sports FC 25 across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. While this update is not as large as the mid-season overhaul from a few weeks ago, it introduces several fixes and small improvements that enhance different aspects of the game.
The latest patch focuses on stability improvements, visual corrections, and better functionality in various game modes, including FC 25 Ultimate Team, Career Mode, and general gameplay. EA has also confirmed that these changes will not impact the overall balance of the game, so players can continue their matches without needing to adjust strategies.
Notable Fixes
Ultimate Team
Players can now search for footballers using OVR (Overall Rating) ranges in different sections such as Club, SBCs, Rush, and Evolutions. This new feature makes squad management more efficient, allowing users to find players within a specific rating range easily. It will be particularly useful when building teams for objectives or completing Squad Building Challenges.
Gameplay
The Simulation mode slider presets have been adjusted to better align with previous tuning changes, ensuring a smoother simulation experience. Additionally, a stability issue that sometimes caused problems during throw-ins has been fixed. This means players should no longer experience unexpected crashes or disruptions when putting the ball back into play.
Clubs
Some players encountered a visual glitch where Rush rewards were not displaying correctly. While this issue did not affect actual rewards, it caused confusion among players. This has now been fixed, ensuring that all rewards are displayed as intended.
Career Mode
A new option to set Board Strictness in Live Starting Points has been added. This allows Career Mode players to adjust how strict the board's expectations are when starting a new career, providing more control over their club’s management. Additionally, a crash issue that could occur when simulating matches has been resolved, making Career Mode more stable.
General Fixes
Several visual and text-related issues have been fixed in the game. Some players previously noticed placeholder text and incorrect badge displays, which have now been corrected, resulting in a cleaner and more polished in-game experience.
Although this update doesn’t bring major gameplay changes or shake up the meta, it prioritizes quality-of-life improvements that enhance the overall experience, ensuring smoother gameplay and better usability across all modes.
