It’s been a little over a week since Title Update #13 landed in EA Sports FC 25, and while it might not have been the biggest patch we’ve seen, it quietly fixed a handful of things that were definitely causing frustration for players across various modes.
Compared to previous updates, like the content-heavy Title Update #10 or the broader stability tweaks in Update #12, this patch was relatively light. But sometimes, it’s the little fixes that make the biggest difference during gameplay.
The Fixes
The main highlight was a fix to PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ not activating properly in matches. If you had player items with more than 12 PlayStyles, you might’ve noticed that some of them weren’t triggering at all in-game. That issue is now resolved, which means FC 25 cards should finally be performing the way they’re supposed to, which is especially useful during competitive FUT Immortals matches where every detail counts.
In addition, the update brought some polish to the visual side of the game, particularly for CONMEBOL competitions. EA updated things like seeding, kits, banners, balls, and even ad boards. Small changes, sure, but they do help the overall presentation feel a bit more authentic and polished.
There were also a few general stability improvements, which seem to have helped reduce the occasional crashes or unexpected bugs some players were reporting earlier in the month.
A Quiet Patch, But Worth Noting
Even though Update #13 didn’t bring any flashy new features or big gameplay overhauls, it did help tighten things up ahead of some of the busiest months in the FC calendar. With FC 25 Team of the Season kicking off soon and FUT Immortals already underway, smooth performance matters more than ever.
If you’ve been playing regularly, you’ve probably noticed fewer odd glitches during matches when using players with a high number of PlayStyles. And for players who are into CONMEBOL content, the updates there definitely make it feel a bit more polished.
Prepare for TOTS.
This patch felt like a setup move for the upcoming FC 25 TOTS Event, clearing out the smaller problems before something bigger hits. With TOTS dropping on April 25, it’s likely the next major update will carry a heavier load: new content, bigger fixes, and maybe even tweaks to support whatever EA has planned for the final stages of the FC 25 Ultimate Team season.
Until then, it’s a good time to grind through the Warm-Up objectives, stack your packs, and enjoy a more stable game thanks to some behind-the-scenes fixes.
