Hype continues to grow for FIFA 19 and as a result, more and more members of the community are asking about one thing in particular, the FIFA 19 demo. In this post, we'll be taking a look at everything that you need to know about the FIFA 19 beta including a complete guide on how to be the first to gain access to the beta.
What is the FIFA 19 demo?
The main purpose of the FIFA 19 demo is to give users a taste of the new game. It gives a chance to players to test out FIFA 19 and give developer feedback on anomalies that they may find and also suggest potential alterations.
In order to gain access to the FIFA 19 demo, users must download it from the store. The demo will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
How do I get the FIFA 19 beta?
Gaining access to the demo is relatively simple and there are actually a few things which you can do to gain access slightly earlier and also to improve your playing experience.
Firstly, make sure that in the run up to the release date of the beta that you start to check the New Zealand stores on your console.
In previous editions of the game, New Zealand has actually received the beta before any other country.
To do this on Xbox, just head over to your settings and change your region to New Zealand. However, if you're on PlayStation, it's slightly trickier. You'll have to create yourself a new account that has the location set as New Zealand. This is relatively simple and the only difficult part will be finding a New Zealand address which you can find with a quick Google search.
Once you're set up on your consoles you'll be ready to play the demo.
What do we get in the FIFA 19 demo?
There are several features that will be included in the demo:
Kick off mode - on kick off mode you will be able to play a standard game of FIFA featuring two 4 minute halves with roughly around 9 teams being featured in the demo. The teams this year will be, Atletico Madrid, Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Journey - the FIFA 19 demo will include a limited version of The Journey season 3. In The Journey you can control Alex Hunter, and you will get a glimpse to see what's in store for Alex in the penultimate version of The Journey. With the huge emphasis on the champions league this year, we will be surprised if this doesn't make a feature in this teaser.
UEFA Champions League - in the FIFA 19 demo, you'll be able to take part in the brand new game mode specifically for the Champions League. This will be a stand alone mode much similar to the World Cup mode in FIFA 18 in which you can take a team and lead them to glory in the Champions League.
What else do I need to know?
The FIFA 19 demo release date will be towards the start of September. Last year, the demo was released around this time and we expect to see the same this time round.
Any progress that you do make on the demo will not be carried over when the full game comes out.
The download file will be around roughly 8GB on each console so make sure to have enough room on your hard drive prior to installing the beta.
All in all, the demo is just around the corner and if you're prepared, you'll be playing the FIFA 19 demo early.
