Path of Exile 2

A recent Reddit post has drawn attention to something most players probably overlooked. The Path of Exile 2 logo is surprisingly similar to an iconic PoE item: it looks suspiciously like a twisted version of the Path of Exile Mirror of Kalandra.
Seriously, once you see it, you can't unsee it.

At first, the resemblance seems subtle. But when you line them up side by side, with the shape, the metallic oval, the markings, and even the centerpiece, it becomes really suspicious. There is a good chance that it was inspired by the PoE Mirror. It's like someone corrupted the PoE Mirror Orb and turned it into the logo.
And of course, Reddit went full PoE brain immediately:

• "PoE2 confirmed to be vaaled PoE."
• "They corrupted PoE1 so we can't craft anymore."
• “honestly thought it was obvious xD” – For some it was not a surprie.

To be fair, it's a fantastic little detail that feels too intentional to be a coincidence.
 
It Could Be More Than a Visual Choice
If you've been following anything about PoE2, you know the story is already playing with some trippy concepts like time loops, twisted versions of reality, and a new idea that puts the player into something mysterious.
So the logo might reflect a distorted World of Kalandra that fits the game almost too well.

But who is Kalandra, really?

That question “who” feels strangely appropriate. After all, Kalandra is a nearly forgotten figure in Path of Exile's lore. An ancient being, part owl, part human. She's rarely mentioned directly in the game, but her influence echoes through one of the most powerful PoE items in Wraeclast: the Mirror of Kalandra.

Her presence brings illusion, trickery, and fractured reality. Now that Path of Exile 2 is diving deeper into warped realities and altered timelines, fans start to wonder:
Was that logo a clue hiding in plain sight? Are we going to run into Lake of Kalandra again? Are we the reflection this time? Could PoE2 be a mirrored, pre-Atlas version of the first game's world?
Someone in the Reddit thread dropped this gem:
"PoE2 is a mirrored version of the world in PoE1 before it gets destroyed by the atlas. Trust."
If that's true, then GGG is laying the groundwork for a full-circle lore twist, and we might be in for something far more ambitious than just “Path of Exile, but shinier.”
 
Speculation, Lore, and a Whole Lot of Hype
The PoE2 logo might confirm something, or maybe nothing at all. But one thing is certain: the story fits perfectly into the world of Path of Exile.
This small logo detail could be a subtle nod to the game's bigger themes. Maybe it's a hint. Maybe it's just clever design. We don't know yet.
As the updates for the sequel keep coming, we might learn more about what GGG is really planning. Maybe we will find out sooner, or maybe we will not know anything until PoE2 officially drops. Right now, nothing is certain.
