Carryover from FIFA 25 to FIFA 26

2025.09.22

This article might be outdated, last update was during FIFA 25.

If you've played FUT before, you might think that when you start your journey on a brand new instalment of the series, all your previous progression has been forgotten. However, this is not not the case.

FIFA 26 will allow you to carryover and maintain some of your FUT progress. You'll be able to carryover some FUT ingame items and data from FUT 25 if you're playing on the same platform. Alas, there is some confusion about what will carryover to FIFA 26.

FUT 25 Transferable Items

When you move over to a new title, there will be a number of Transferable Items which you can take with your as you start FIFA 26. These items include:

-FUT Club Data - Your FUT club profile including your Club name and established date will transfer over to FIFA 26. However, as far as data from your FUT club goes, this is the only data that will be transferred in relation to your account. So if you've got millions of coins on your FUT 25 account, these will not transfer over to FIFA 26.

-XP Level - If you've played FUT for a while, you'll know all about XP. XP is a system within FUT which measures how experienced you are within the FUT universe. You may not even know what your XP Level is as it is a feature which is often ignored by most players. However, this can be found within the FIFA menus, so make sure to check this before the release of FUT 26 as depending on your XP Level, you may receive some ingame rewards.

-Football Club Credits - Football Club Credits are earned as you play FUT. As you play more FUT, you'll earn more Football Club Credits. These can then be redeemed within the FIFA catalogue which will reward you with a number of redeemable items.

-FUT Points - Finally, if you buy FUT Points before the release of FIFA 26 on FUT25, you'll have the option to transfer these over to the new game. However, FIFA Points are typically not very good value for money, so we would suggest buying coins at the start of FIFA 26.

FUT 25 Non-Transferable Items

In addition to the multiple Items which are transferable, there will be a number of Items that you won't be able to take with you to FIFA 26.

-FUT Coins - Unfortunately, FUT coins won't be transferable over to the new game. So if you have some coins in your account, it's best to spend them before the release of FIFA 26.

-FUT Cards - Much similar to FIFA coins, you won't be able to transfer any of your FIFA cards over to the new game, regardless of how they were attained.

-FUT Progress - Some FUT Progress will not be transferred over to the new game. For example, your FUT Champions rank will be completely reset when the new game releases. Other things such as Record, Match History, Leaderboard Rank and more will not be transferable.

-EA Catalogue Items - Remember earlier when we mentioned that your Football Club Credits will transfer? Well, unfortunately, any EA Catalogue Items you had redeemed with your Football Club Credits in the past will not transfer over to FIFA 26 and will need to be re-purchased upon the release of FIFA 26.

How To Carryover Items and Data to FIFA 26

Carrying your Items over to FIFA 26 is relatively simple. When you load up the new game, the majority of Items will already be there waiting for you. However, you may be prompted to transfer some Items over, but you will see this the first time you load up FIFA 26.

As we mentioned, you won't be able to transfer your FUT 25 Coins so your safest and easiest option would be to purchase FIFA 26 Coins upon the release of FIFA 26. If you buy FUT Points, these will not be the best value for money and may prevent you from getting the best start in FIFA 26.
