Deadeye is fast, sharp, and an absolute destruction machine. If you're after a smooth campaign where you're always one step ahead of the pack, it's a solid pick. Leveling it feels good most of the time, but only if you know what to look for and don't waste time chasing bad gear or unnecessary gimmicks. Here's what actually works.

Start with PoE 2 Lightning Arrow. It hits multiple enemies and works well right from Act 1. Don't overthink it. Link it with Pierce early on, then swap to Chain as soon as it becomes available. Mirage Archer is a no-brainer too. Once you get it, you barely need to stop moving; just shoot once, reposition, and let the clone handle cleanup.

Gear doesn't need to be fancy. You're looking for a bow with added flat elemental damage. Physical bows don't scale well early, so don't waste POE currency trying to craft something better. If it has decent attack speed and adds some lightning or cold to attacks, it's fine. Keep resistances capped and get life on every slot. No exceptions.

Quivers are underrated during leveling. Find one with attack speed or elemental damage. Life and resistances matter more, but the extra damage helps clear faster. Don't bother with anything that looks interesting but doesn't have value. If it doesn't add to your speed or survival, skip it. That goes for most POE items you'll come across. Keep your filters tight and your stash cleaner than usual.

On the POE 2 Orb side of things, you're mainly using Alterations, Alchs, and Chaos. Don't go deeper than that. Save higher-value PoE 2 Currency for mapping. If you're missing damage, throw an Essence on a bow. If you're missing defense, buy boots with move speed and resists. It's basic, but it works.

On the Ascendancy side, it's simple:

• Gathering Winds: Grants Tailwind early, which changes how the entire build feels. More speed, more attacks, more uptime.
• Point Blank: Provides a strong single-target boost, especially useful once Act bosses start getting tankier.
• Endless Munitions: Expands your arrow spread, making it clearer and smoother while also reducing the need for precise positioning.

Deadeye is a real PoE 2 Map cleaner as well. It's fast, hits hard, and never stands still. The faster you kill, the safer you are. The cleaner your gear upgrades, the less PoE 2 Currency you waste. Everything else is noise.

If you keep things simple and stick to the playstyle requirements, you'll breeze through the campaign and reach the maps where the real PoE 2 loot awaits. Just don't forget, Deadeye is not immortal—one mistake can easily cost you your life. Be fast, efficient, and precise.
