The Path of Exile 2's tempo was drastically altered by the Third Edict. It added Act Four, a new region made up of eight islands, each one filled with its own content. There are many new PoE 2 Monsters in every area thanks to the update's inclusion of over a hundred new enemy types.
We have collected the top 3 new Poe 2 Bosses that are the most unique of them all.
The Great White One
At first glance, you see a shark fin cutting through the water close to the rocks. It looks harmless enough. You're on land, after all. Then, out of nowhere, it bursts out of the ocean, landing right next to you. The Great White One doesn't just swim. It walks.
It's a huge shark that attacks with bites, tail swipes, and sudden dives underground before bursting up beneath you. If it manages to bite, it goes into a frenzy, moving faster and hitting harder. It's one of the optional bosses in Act Four, but it feels anything but optional when you're standing face-to-face with it. Beating it gives you a quest item and one of those “I can't believe I survived that” moments.
Diamora, Song of Death
Deep under Whakapanu Island, the Singing Caverns hide something that sounds almost peaceful. You hear her voice first; it's calm, soft, and beautiful. When you finally see her, she's a glowing siren floating in clear water. But Path of Exile players know better than to trust anything that looks that perfect.
When you get close, Diamora changes. The light fades, and she becomes an all-nightmare-like creature. The fight turns chaotic fast; she dives in and out of the water, screams loud enough to shake your screen, and traps you in walls of crashing waves.
There's one mechanic that makes the fight unforgettable: when she starts singing again, you can't look directly at her. If you do, you start turning to stone. You have to fight her and her siren minions without meeting her gaze.
There's also a haunting detail: around the edges of the arena, you can see other victims—half-turned statues frozen mid-scream. It's creepy but brilliant.
Yama, the White
At some point, you'll reach The Eye of Hinekora, a giant sinkhole in the middle of the ocean. It leads to the Halls of the Dead, a place where great Karui warriors rest. There, you meet Yama, the White, a monkey-like guardian with terrifying speed and power.
He jumps from totems, flips through the air, and slams down with chaos-infused attacks that burn straight through shields and health bars. What makes him really dangerous is his connection to Hinekora, the Mother of Death. She gave him the power of foresight, the ability to see your next move before you make it.
During the fight, the lights go out, and you suddenly see copies of yourself dying in different ways. Those are your possible futures. You have to find the one path where you live and follow it. It's a challenging fight and one of the most unique mechanics Path of Exile has ever pulled off.
Act Four is a proper leap forward for Path of Exile 2. Every island has its own tone and story, every boss is unique, and the fights have more personality than ever. Although the update dropped over a month ago, the game still keeps players busy with tons of content – and these bosses are just the tip of the iceberg. There's still plenty more waiting to be discovered before the next big update arrives.
