If you're playing a fire build in Last Epoch, you've probably met with Immolator’s Oblation. It's a unique Last Epoch Belt that works great with fire setups and offers more than just basic stat boosts. Alongside extra potion slots, it gives nice perks to both fire and necrotic abilities. Its best feature is clearing all debuffs, which is a real lifesaver when things get rough.
The problem? You won’t be finding this Last Epoch Item just lying around in early zones or popping out of random chests. Getting it takes effort and a fair bit of patience.
Where You’ll Find It
The only way to get Immolator’s Oblation is by beating Fire Lich Cremorus in the Soulfire Bastion dungeon. No other enemy drops it, and there’s no shortcut. If you want this Last Epoch Belt, you’ll need to fight Cremorus directly.
To even enter the dungeon, you’ll need a Soulfire Bastion Key. It doesn’t drop often. You can get them from Monoliths, Arena runs, and just general play, but the drop rate is pretty low. Even worse, the key is consumed after a single run, so if you’re aiming for multiple attempts, you’ll want to stockpile a few ahead of time.
What to Know Before You Farm
Not all dungeon tiers are equal. Only Tier 3 and Tier 4 of Soulfire Bastion have a chance to drop the belt. You must clear Tier 1 and Tier 2 first, though, since they unlock the higher difficulties.
Once you're running Tier 3, the drop chance sits at about 12%. On Tier 4, it goes up to 18%, but that’s still far from a guaranteed drop. In most cases, you’ll need to kill Cremorus several times before you see the belt. If you’re unlucky, it could take ten or more keys before you get it. It’s not the worst grind in the game, but it definitely adds up if you’re short on keys.
Is It Worth the Trouble?
If your build revolves around fire or necrotic damage, then yes, it’s worth going after. The potion-based ailment cleanse is a huge quality-of-life improvement, especially during fast-paced or heavy DoT encounters. On top of that, Immolator’s Oblation extends the duration of key abilities and improves their impact, letting your skills feel stronger and more reliable.
Even outside of hardcore builds, Immolator’s Oblation offers solid value. Extra potion slots are always helpful, and it fits nicely into any setup where survivability and sustained damage matter.
Last Word
You’ll need to grind a bit to get Immolator’s Oblation. Between farming keys and pushing through higher dungeon tiers, it takes some time. If you like building around fire damage or adding some necrotic power, it's one of the best belts for the job. Just don't expect it to drop on your first run.
Bring some keys, get ready for a few fights, and eventually, it’ll be yours.
