Latest Path of Exile 2 0.1.1f Patch Brings Small Fixes

2025.03.09

Path of Exile 2 has received a new update aimed at improving gameplay and addressing various bugs. Despite still being in early access, the game has already gained a strong following, with players eager to experience its evolving mechanics. Developer Grinding Gear Games continues to refine the experience, ensuring that PoE2 remains a smooth and enjoyable.

The latest update, version 0.1.1f, is now available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. While it does not introduce major new features, it mainly fixing problems related to skills, locations, and game mechanics. Additionally, a new checkpoint has been added to the Ogham Farmlands, providing a more balanced experience for players progressing through that area. The Atlas Map has also received performance improvements to enhance stability and efficiency.

One of the key fixes involves the Defiance Banner Skill, which previously granted the wrong quality bonus. With this update, it now correctly increases Aura effect per Valour, aligning it with other Banner skills. Another notable fix addresses an issue where damage per second values in the Skills Panel were not always updating as intended. Players who rely on these statistics to optimize their builds should now see accurate values.

A recurring issue in Jiquani’s Sanctum caused items to become invisible when interacting with the Corruption Altar while holding another item. This has now been resolved, preventing unnecessary confusion when managing inventory. Moreover, the Dark Effigy Skill now properly applies Wither, correcting an issue that affected its intended function.

Another fix focuses on the Now and Again Chronomancer Ascendancy Passive Skill. Previously, the effect that allowed Shield Charge to avoid consuming a cooldown did not work correctly. Players relying on this ability should now notice its proper functionality.
Untainted Paradise also received a correction. The Increased Experience Modifier displayed double the intended value on the Atlas UI, which led to confusion among players. This update ensures that the correct modifier now appears. Furthermore, a problem preventing Divergence and Heritage hideout decorations from being placed has been fixed, allowing players to personalize their hideouts without issue.

Several skill descriptions have been updated for clarity. The Ember Fusillade Skill now explicitly states that additional projectiles influence the number of Embers accumulated. Likewise, The Three Dragons Unique item has been updated to specify that Cold Damage from Hits does not contribute to Freeze Buildup.

Beyond the individual fixes, the update also improves the overall performance of the Atlas Map. Such improvements should lead to a smoother experience, particularly for players navigating its various features.

While 0.1.1f does not bring major new content, it reflects Grinding Gear Games’ ongoing efforts to improve Path of Exile 2. The update addresses various issues and enhances gameplay, making the experience more polished. As early access continues, players will see more adjustments aimed at improving balance and performance.
