Let's be real, Secrets of the Atlas can be a brutal grind if you waste time on the wrong things with the wrong tools. There's a mountain of PoE currency out there, but most of it's either trade filler or junk. Only a few types really help you make progress or stack up profit. If you want to be rich and get the best gear, these are the league's most cost-efficient PoE currencies.
PoE Memory Strands Are the Core of This League
At first, Memory Strands don't seem like a big deal. Just another PoE League Currency, right? Not really. Once you figure out how the Memory Nexus works, you realize strands are basically free progress toward big item mods. No need to waste chaos or gamble for fractures; you just run Thread maps, stockpile strands, and target the affixes you want.
Plenty of players make easy profit buying trash rares with decent bases, running them through the Memory system, and flipping them for way more. It's not exciting, but it works. If you're playing solo or not into heavy trading, this is how you craft without losing your sanity.
PoE Veiled Chaos Orbs Are Still Great
Veiled Chaos Orbs never get enough credit. People forget how good veiled mods are, especially when you're trying to fix resistances or squeeze extra damage from weird suffixes you can't hit with regular chaos spam. They're perfect for that awkward mid-league phase when you need upgrades but can't afford BiS stuff.
They tend to accumulate naturally as you run maps and Betrayal missions. Just run Betrayal missions while you're mapping, and they pile up over time. They're not flashy like PoE Exalted Orbs, but they're practical. And if you don't need them? Easy to flip. There's always someone too lazy to farm Jun who'll happily buy them.
Influence Exalts Are Still King
No surprises here: Shaper's and Path of Exile Elder's Exalts are still top tier for crafting. They're harder to get now unless you're deep into high-end Atlas, but they're still super valuable. You'll barely see them unless you're farming Pinnacle bosses, but when they do drop, it's either crafting time or straight to trade.
If you're making influence bases, these are non-negotiable. Otherwise, just stash them as savings or sell them for easy profit. Don't waste them on early gear; save them for actual endgame stuff.
The “Secret” Technique
No secret tricks here. Just map smart. Farm PoE maps that feed you with PoE Thread maps and Betrayal consistently. Stack Atlas passives to force more Memory stuff, and skip Betrayal unless you're sprinting.
And what's with PoE Pinnacle bosses? Save them for later, when you're bored of maps and want a shot at big drops.
Yes, you can just casually run and enjoy destroying monsters, but if you want to collect expensive gear, you need to farm smart. It's not about how many PoE maps you run; it's about how efficiently you run them.
