EAFC24 is just around the corner, and besides from playing the FIFA 24 demo and the FIFA 24 beta, FIFA 24 Early Access will also give you the opportunity to play FIFA 24 early.
So, in this blog post, we'll be taking a look at all the things you need to know about FIFA 24 EA early access.
What Is EA Early Access?
EA access is a subscription based service offered by EA. Previously, EA access was limited to Xbox users, however, this year, the service will be open to both Xbox and PlayStation users.
EA access released years ago back in 2014. The service is relatively simple. Once signed up, users will receive a number of benefits in relation to EA titles. The subscription works on a monthly payment, and whilst signed up to the service, users receive:
Early access to games - EA access offers users to play games early, such as FIFA. Each year, those who are signed up to the service received access to FIFA titles a few days before those who were not subscribed. However, though users received early access, the time allowed to play the new game was limited. Users were allowed to play for 10 hours until they were locked out of the game until the full release date of the game. Any progress made within EA access would be maintained when the full game was live.
Free access to games - one particular feature of EA access allows users to play games for free should they continue to be signed up to the service. "The Vault" is one place which allows users to download and play games that have been released by EA such as FIFA.
Discount on ingame EA purchases - if you've been a fan of the games released by EA, you'll know they look digital ingame purchases, such as FIFA points. However, with an EA access subscription, you can receive a discount on these purchases. For example, with FIFA, you can receive up to 10% off FIFA points with an EA access membership.
So How Does EA Access Work?
The main selling point for EA access for FIFA fans is the fact that by subscribing, you'll gain early access to play FIFA.
Subscribers will be able to play the full game around 3-7 days before the full game releases. However, there will be a time limit of 10 hours of gameplay. This means, any time you load up FIFA, your time will gradually decline until your eventually locked out of the new game until the official release date.
Regardless of what you're doing on the game, your time will decrease. It doesn't matter if you're playing games or not.
How Do I Make The Most of FIFA Early Access?
This question is a relatively difficult one to answer. This completely depends on what you like to play within FIFA.
However, if you're an avid fan of the Ultimate Team game mode, there are a few things you should avoid when playing during FIFA early access. With the whole point of early access to play based on a certain amount of time, utilising the in game menus for too long could be a huge waste of time.
As mentioned, your time decreases regardless of your action within FIFA, so you have to make sure that all your time is being spent wisely rather than doing things you don't really need to do. Make sure to avoid being idle within the menus as this could eat up a lot of your EA access time
