Delve fossils:
The Delve league introduced this currency item to PoE. They often appear in delve nodes, although they can appear in deliriums or other places as well. The syndicate can be randomly encountered on maps where they spawn. It has a mastermind and between 14 and 17 members. There is no given order when you may encounter any member.
There is an investigation board, that displays the members to assist you in finding the syndicate. Each recognized member will also have their rank, tasks, and items displayed.
In any case, raiding safehouses will be your main objective. Once you have enough intelligence of a faction, you can raid its safehouse. The safehouse's leader and his followers will attempt to protect it when you raid it.
