The Sentinel League

2022.05.16

A new challenge league just arrived in Path of Exile, adding exciting new features and rewards. In this article, we will go through the notable parts of this league in order to help you start your journey through this new environment.

There is a way to interact with your Sentinels, namely the Sentinel Controller, which can be used to customize the behavior of your Sentinels. Filaments may be arranged on the controller to channel power to its nodes, each of which customizes your Sentinels effects in various ways. These filaments may be moved around as often as you like to experiment with your ultimate Sentinel playstyle.

Your Sentinels sadly don't last forever, but lucky for you, when they run out of charge, two husks and a power core can be combined to make a fresh new Sentinel. This newborn comes with the properties of the husks and may inherit new special properties, which can only come from this process of combination.

There are four types of power cores:
Power Core is a currency item that destroys two Sentinels to create a fully-charged Sentinel with a combination of their properties. Sometimes, the resultant item is modified unpredictably.

Transforming Power Core is a currency item that destroys two Sentinels to create a fully-charged Sentinel with a combination of their properties. Sometimes, the resultant item is modified unpredictably, with a higher chance of a special base type.

Amplifying Power Core is a currency item that destroys two Sentinels to create a fully-charged Sentinel with a combination of their properties. Sometimes, the resultant item is modified unpredictably, with a higher chance of upgrading the tier of modifiers.

The Atlas passive tree that was introduced in the Siege of the Atlas expansion was a good step in the right direction. A lot of experienced players loved that you had more control over your maps. Considering it had been years since any major map overhaul. It looks like Grinding Gear Games took note and is expanding it even more. So while the Atlas map isn't getting a big upgrade they are adding 20 new keystones to the Atlas passive tree. These will let you customize and change your maps in drastic ways.
Out of the 20 new keystones that are being added, 6 of them will affect the main endgame bosses in Path of Exile. It will change them to their uber versions, making them even more powerful. However, this is only recommended for experienced players, as this is considered some of the hardest content in the game.

We wish you luck on your adventure in the new league and as always you can rely on us if you need anything to boost your character!
